Jackie O Intermediate Dress Making Class

Join Heidi Laing and create your own 60’s style summer dress à la Mad Men! This class will teach you to customize a pattern to fit you, install zippers, and create button loops and tidy hems. This class requires some sewing machine experience. Please bring 2.5m of cotton for your dress along with matching all-purpose thread. All other materials are provided. Please let us know if you need a sewing machine or will be bringing your own.

Adult Beginner Jewellery Class

You can learn all of the basics of beaded jewellery making in less than 3 hours! Bridget Remai, co-owner of Flock Boutique, will take you through the basic tools and techniques required to make beaded jewellery. You should leave the class with between 4 and 8 finished pairs of earrings.

Summer Fling Beginner Dress Making Class

In this workshop, Heidi Laing will teach you to create your own easy-breasy summer dress that’s just as cute over your suit for a day at the beach as it is for strolling around town. This class will teach you to customize a pattern to fit you, sew French hems, make tidy hems and button holes, create draw strings and bias tape. This class is beginner friendly but some experience with a sewing machine is recommended. Please bring 2.5m of cotton fabric for your dress and a spool of matching all-purpose thread. All other materials are provided. Please let us know if you need a sewing machine or will be bringing your own.
