Trunk Sale is BACK! 

We couldn’t be more excited to announce that  Workshop’s Legendary Spring Trunk Sale is back!

So…what exactly is Trunk Sale?
Before the Covid times, Trunk Sale was our biggest sale of the season and it happened twice per year (once in the Spring and once in the Fall). All of our favourite designers root through their storage lockers, select their best gems and send them to us at 30-70% off. This is a great way for them to clear out their overstock and for you to scoop up lovely Canadian-made pieces at great prices!
But, hold on just a hot minute!  Workshop is closed permanently so where are we going to host this epic event? So glad you asked because we scored a great little space (thanks The Rally Round!) at 70B Beech St (directly behind The Prescott in Little Italy). It’s got lovely white walls, adorable string lights and plenty of space for our homemade kids’ fort-style group change rooms. We know you are going to love it as much as we do.

Trunk Sale will take place in person for 5 days only at 70B Beech St:
Thursday, March 28th 10-8
Friday, March 29th      10-7
Saturday, March 30th 10-6
Sunday, March 31st    10-6
Monday, April 1st        10-2
(we will be slowly packing up on Monday but you are welcome to shop anything you can see!)

Due to the huge amount of work involved in preparing Trunk Sale, we are unable to put it online so you’ll have to visit (plus, we love seeing your smiling faces)!

TOP 10 TIPS FOR TRUNK SALE!

  1. Wear comfy shoes, leggings, and a tank top. This will keep you comfy, and make it easier to use the communal change rooms we have set up for you! (We also have regular change rooms if you prefer.)

  2. Bring a water bottle and small snack. We’ll have some goodies out for you, but if you have dietary restrictions or allergies, a granola bar is always a good idea!

  3. Don’t bring too many things with you. The Thursday night is bananas in the best way! Since there are so many people around, and our space is a little on the small side, it’s best to limit the things you carry in if possible :)

  4. Utilize your Shopgirls. We’re here to help, and we LOVE these clothes as much as you do! If you need a size or are looking something specific, please don’t hesitate to ask us!

  5. The hold queue is your friend. When you’ve started to collect a few things, let us know and we’ll put your things aside with your name on it. This cuts down on your wait time, and keeps us organized so we know who’s next in line.

  6. Give yourself lots of time. Even at our most efficient, it’s likely you’ll still have to wait a bit for a change room so make sure you’ve booked your babysitter and you don’t have a strict dinner reservation waiting for you ;)

  7. Bring (or make) a friend. Shopping is always more fun when someone is there to help you out. If your bff can’t make it out, our shopgirls (and your fellow customers) are always here to help. Bonus Pro Tip: We’ve seen real friendship develop in our communal change rooms because we have the BEST customers who are always there with some helpful advice and a great attitude.
  8. Don’t love crowds? Try Friday or Monday during the day. You’ll miss all the commotion *and* you can play hooky from work (we won’t tell).

  9. Try something new. You might just find your new favourite designer by branching out of your comfort zone.

  10. SMILE and bring your positive attitude. Trunk Sale is an incredible time and is made even better because of customers like you who are excited and happy. The positive energy is infectious and we want to make sure you leave us feeling as great as when you arrived!
